Any Ideas? I logged into my shared host configuration interface and changed PHP version from 5.6 to 5.5 which made the updates work. Install the patch at #646694: AJAX: Terrible reporting of status 0 response from AJAX request ("HTTP Error 0 has occurred") and re-create the error you're having. Suspect the issue relates to either cck, filefield, or imagefield module's implmentation of some flavor of java because the behavior is different on different browsers. More Bonuses

All is well now Log in or register to post comments I fixed this by doing the jibberish commented December 20, 2010 at 8:35pm I fixed this by doing the following: Apparently there are two unrelated problems, that just have some similar symptoms: a) problems with memory_limit on shared hosting b) a quite obvious bug in jquery.form.js.
I'd be happy to do more tests, but I'm a bit out of ideas. Problem is not only with uploads but everything that has ajax functionality. No such problem in Safari, so I presume this is not a webkit problem. browse this site I also get one. 1) Many helpful was Google Chrome JavaScript console which return me Server error message which was:the server responded with a status of 413 (Request Entity Too Large)
But when I comment it out, I notice I no longer get the little spinning stop watch next to the upload button after click. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? http://downloadcallwave.com/http-error/an-http-error-0-occurred-drupal-filefield-ahah.php I added a 'module_load_include' in the global scope (not inside a function) for the include file that contained the form_alter function and it cleared up the issue. Upgraded to the new version and the problem was gone! Updating to the latest form.jquery.js from malsup's site (the file is commented as being updated on 11/9/09) "fixed" the problem.
Anyone else have this issue uploading files ever?
