Any hints anyone - I like to understand the DLOOKUP a bit better. In short, you lose the ability to reference the parent table although it could be referenced as qryOverallPriority.[ProjectId] but that is not necessary.. After selection password verification code runs and generate error. This is part of the VBA but can't work out why the DLookup Isn't working - it recognises the 'UniqueRef' string okay with the right value, but it gives me Run-Time
